59 complete stones, total weight 2,421 g, were found by GJH. McCall in 1964.

First supplied to Western Australian Museum.

In total 781 pieces, total weight 19.4 kg. Individual weights range from 2,095 to 0.2 g, have been found by GJH McCall. Another five stones with a combined weight of 548 g have been discovered by a joint WAMET/EUROMET expedition in 1992.

Radiometric dating of the meteorite itself estimates an age of about 4.5 billion years, suggesting it was formed at the very beginning of the Solar System, and which makes it among the oldest material known to exist ( the oldest rocks on Earth being only half its age!).
