This is a very nice Fossil Belemnite, an Opal Replacement of the back bone of the ancient Squidl. This Master Piece of Nature's Conservation has been mined at Coober Pedy in Outback South Australia, the Opal Capital of the World. It is a very solid Opal Pipe , Beer Bottle Potch, no Colour Play. The Pipe has been polished.
This is a very interesting Show Piece in any Collection.
