These meteorites are very beautiful with a highly contrasting and surprisingly colorful texture, often breccicated with numerous clasts. There are at least two sides with nice fusion crust, flow lines and thumb prints on this display piece. It is only slightly weathered, as it has been found on the desert surface. The meteorites final publication and official naming by the Nomenclature Committee of the Meteoritical Scociety is now official and recorded in Met. Bull. 88. Wadi Mellene is the place of it's find according to the natives.
This surely is a beautiful meteorite, a real Museums Piece, well worth it's investment!.
